Puzzles will not download. Points have been deducted. Says downloading but progress shows nothing.

Microsoft Jigsaw Jam

Just wondering if there are new Microsoft Jigsaw Jam puzzles. I just keep getting regular puzzles but not the Jigsaw Jam. Thanks for your help?

Habe auch das Problem mit der App vom Jigsaw Puzzle alle anderen Spiele auf den PC von Microsoft laufen einwandfrei, vom 01,08-13,08 war alles ok. ab den 14,08,2016 nach windows 10 update hat das Problem begonnen, bitte um Hilfe das mein Puzzle Jigsaw wieder
geht .

I have three Jigsaws that are not downloading, why!

 

I have the same problem for 1 year, I unistalled this game at least 10 times and swaped PC. Nothing to do, it's just random.

 

I have the same problem too. Mine doesn't deduct coins though!

 

Same problem tried all the app diagnostics, clearing cache, etc. Still no download!!

 

Sounds like there's a data download issue. Have you tried rebooting your computer and then launching the game again?

If this doesn't do anything and you sign into Xbox Live when you play, then you can try uninstalling and reinstalling.

 

If you have this problem randomly it's likely a connection issue. These collections are downloaded when you purchase them and if they stall on the download it's likely the connection was lost.

I've found that rebooting fixes this, also getting all the latest windows updates eliminates many problems.

 

Have you gotten all the latest Windows updates? Also if you log into Xbox Live when you play, you can try uninstalling and then reinstalling the game. Don't do this if you don't sign in, otherwise you'll lose all your collections and progress.

I spent three hours between chat and XBOX help. They suggest you uninstall and reinstall the game.

I did that. Rebooting between uninstall and install. It did not work. Now, all my puzzles are gone.

Then I uninstall Microsoft Jigsaw, Microsoft Solitaire Collection, and Minecraft for Windows 10 (nephews' game) and Rebooted between the uninstalls and installs.

Still did not work.

So they have a serious problem and do not want to admit to it.

If the game is unable to download collections it's caused by either not having enough free HD space, your machine has a firewall that's blocking calls made by the game, or your OS needs updating (this doesn't always show until you click the "Check for updates"
a few times.

 

Uninstalling wipes out all the Jigsaw downloaded collections. They will need to be downloaded again from the "Classic Jigsaw" from the "Downloadable Collections" screen from inside the game. If you still cannot download them (shows an error) the likely causes
are: 1) Antivirus or firewall software that's blocking the download. 2) Problems with internet connectivity. 3) Not enough free space on the machine. 4) The OS is missing needed updates.

I would be more than happy to assist with this if you can provide me more details on what sort of error your seeing and provide me information on your computer.

 

It's likely a problem with free hard drive space, internet connectivity, or software that's blocking the download ports (via a firewall).
