Microsoft ended up giving that little boy an xbox and other stuff for donating blankets instead of receiving an xbox

Donation

I purchased 2 $14.99 coin packs to give them extra money. Has anyone else done this? When I programmed at one place I got paid by the program selling, adding patches and so on. 1 thing I hated though was being told to leave bugs in to sell patches I already
had made. It was for hospitals and healthcare so large sums of money were charged. I quit because I had morals. I'm glad they went under.

Yeah, this is exactly it. I know there was some activities on rewards a while back that also gave you some points for making donations. But now it just seems that Microsoft will match whatever you donate i.e. donate $5, Microsoft donate $5 making it a
$10 donation.

In either case, the double donation is a win for everyone (huzzah!), but I didn't know about that first bit until you mentioned it, thanks for clearing that up.

Hello, when it says that Microsoft will match your point donation, it means that they will also donate 1000 points which is 1 dollar to the wildlife foundation that you donated to. It doesn't mean that you get the points. It means that the charity gets them. So you didn't lose 1000 points because it was donated to the wildlife foundation and since Microsoft is matching you, it means they also donated 1 dollar which is 1000 points to the same foundation. Does that make sense?

I might be completely deluded myself, but I'd seen is as when Microsoft was matching donations, they'd double what you'd donated to whatever charity you'd donated to, so if it was me donating £1 to WE they'd double how much I donated without costing me
double the points. Am I going on the right lines, or have I missed something?
