    microsoft jigsaw - disappearing puzzles (again!)


    I am surely not the only person in the world who is thoroughly tired of downloading (at a price) puzzles that I have already downloaded (at a price) more than once! Particularly irritating is that, quite often, the re-purchased puzzles turn up as I left
    them before they disappeared - that is, the completed and half-completed puzzles are not reset to 'new'.

    Fortunately, I have never wasted real money on the puzzles, only purchasing with 'gold bars' already accumulated. Nevertheless, this should not happen AT ALL - and certainly not when, so far as I can tell, no updates or other changes have been carried out.

    Why does it happen? And why can't your/your suppliers' technical people solve it?

    A forum is useless when no one answers the questions.

    Ok, since we've gotten no response from this forum, I went looking for a solution to the downloading puzzle problems. It's probably in your privacy settings.

    I found this solution in another support forum.

    1. Close Microsoft Jigsaw. 2. Go to settings. 3. Click on Privacy. 4. Click on Background Apps. 5. Turn on " Let apps run in the background, if it's off. 6. Scroll down to Microsoft Jigsaw and set it to "On"

    Now open Microsoft Jigsaw again and try to down load your puzzles again. If it doesn't work, restart your PC. Mine started working right after the restart. Good Luck.
