Microsoft Jigsaw Daily Challenges

Daily challenges won't award gold when completed, the game just stops and eventually closes out. When you go back into the game the challenges won't show as completed because the gold wasn't awarded. This started over a week ago with the March update but
wasn't fixed in the April update. I use the premium version and have reset, uninstalled and reinstalled several times. This problem is specific to just the daily challenge section of the game as gold bars are awarded for completion of a puzzle. The jigsaw
jam portion hasn't changed in over 4 years so who knows if it works correctly or not. I don't even know why you have it if it is never updated, you should button in that section you could click on to make a sound like a duck or a cat or something just to make
marginally useful.

None the less, up until last week I used the daily challenges as a wake-up exercise every morning the last 4 years, so much for that streak. Are you ever going to actually fix this issue or tell all of the folks complaining about it to pound sand? You know,
hey you put up with the jigsaw jam section not doing anything for last 5 years why not this section too. I have never even seen an acknowledgment that there is an issue more or less a fix. Either you're serious about games or you're not, maybe if this was
an augmented reality puzzle game someone at Microsoft would pay attention to it or at least try and sell me 300 dollar pair of handcuffs to use it.

Please fix or at least respond.

Let's go ahead and log out of the game app and the Xbox App on your device. You will also want to reset both apps by following these steps.

Settings>System>Apps & Features>Xbox App>Advanced Options>Reset.

Let us know if these steps help with getting the challenges to show as complete.

 

I attempted the proposed fix but unfortunately, it was not effective. If I sign out of this computer and sign back in as a different user the game works fine on this computer. Which I guess is an improvement but not the actual fix
for my issue. Gold bars and the reward works when completing an actual puzzle, just not in the daily challenges. After completing the challenge the game essentially freezes before awarding the bars and the check that shows you completed the task. It will sit
like that forever or if you minimize the game it will eventually crash and go away. When you open the game back up it as if you were opening the game for the first time that day, you see the challenges download and can the repeat the same aggravating process.
This is the same situation on any computer I am using and not isolated to the primary PC used. Any other possible ideas.

 

I've had this problem since late March 2018. It happens on two different Windows 10 machines. Resetting the app doesn't help; reinstalling the app doesn't help. The fact that it is a problem across multiple machines would seem to me to suggest that any fix
would have to happen on Microsoft's servers.

 

This problem started for me at the same time, shortly after the Windows update KB4089848 and the problem is across 3 separate machines for me as well but only in regards to this particular account. I can sign in under a different
username and play the games as always without the error.

 

I've also been experiencing this since the middle of March. No one seems to have any suggestions or a fix. I've just had to stop playing the game.

Thank you for letting us know that information. It's odd that it works with one profile and not the other one, are you able to check after completing a challenge if this updates your stats within the game as well?

There are 100s of people with this problem, all leaving displeasure over many forums & facebook. It's been 1 full month & no fix. I have 2 laptops with completely different users & they both do as this user states. WE can play , but no gold & it freezes.

FIX THIS PLEASE!
