Microsoft Jigsaw Crashes Constantly

Hello!

When I try to load a puzzle, the application forces itself closed before it can finish loading. I have reset the app, uninstalled and reinstalled the app, applied all windows updates to my computer, and have even done an in-place upgrade at the request
of Microsoft tech chat support agent all to no avail.

I did discover that puzzles will load successfully and I can play when I'm NOT connected to the internet. It looks like there is an ad trying to load in the app when connected to the internet which is causing it to force close rather than displaying the
add.

What can be done to fix this issue, so I can play while connected to the internet and take advantage of the daily challenges, etc.? Thanks in advance for your help in fixing this bug!

Microsoft Jigsaw Puzzles is an awful app that crashes constantly. Microsoft should either get this fixed or take your name off of it. It's a disgrace.

I suggest you to try the following methods and check:



Method 1: App troubleshooter.



Try running the troubleshooter for Microsoft Store apps. Select the Start
button > Settings > Update & Security > Troubleshoot > Windows Store Apps.





Method 2: Update Microsoft Store.



Update Microsoft Store: Select the Start
button > Microsoft Store . Select See more > Downloads and updates > Get updates. If an update for Microsoft Store is available, it will start installing automatically.



Method 3: Run Windows Powershell.



• When the Run new task dialog box opens,

• Type powershell,

• Click the box for Create this task with administrative privileges

• Click OK.



When PowerShell window opens, copy the line below and paste it by simply right-clicking at the blinking PS C:\WINDOWS\system32> prompt, or by pressing [Ctrl] + [V] on the keyboard:

Get-AppXPackage -AllUsers | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml"}



Wait until the app download and installation process completes — ignore any red text that appears — and restart Windows.





Method 4: Update display driver.

Try these steps out and let us know if this works.
