    Microsoft Jigsaw app doesn't download new puzzles


    Since the Microsoft update in December, the Microsoft Jigsaw app doesn't download puzzle anymore.

    When you purchase a new puzzle, your 'money/gold' is accepted, the new puzzle get a 'download' button.

    But when you choose to download, the app freezes and nothing happens.

    I already opened a support case at Windows, without success.

    They checked the BITS services.

    I already had a chat session with xbox support, without success.

    I already did the following:

    1) uninstalled - reinstalled the app, without success

    2) uninstall - reboot - reinstall, without success

    3) uninstall - logout xbox account - login again - reinstall , without succes

    4) ran the windows troubleshooter: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/4027322/windows-update-troubleshooter

    it installed a fix (an updated that was installed yet), but no success

    After this fix I reinstalled the app again, without success

    I'm running this app on a Microsoft Windows 10, I installed this app from the Microsoft Store and the app is developed by Microsoft.

    I hope this message gets trough to Microsoft.

    Downloading Jigsaw puzzles.

    I am unable to download puzzles whether purchased or free while running Microsoft Jigsaw puzzle app. I purchased the trains puzzle and it took away my gold bars but never downloaded the puzzles. Unable to download free puzzles sets.

    WON'T LET ME DOWNLOAD

    I got a new laptop, and when I tried to download Microsoft Jigsaw to the new computer, I can't download the puzzles I was working on. Nor will it allow me to download any of the new Jigsaw Puzzles. Please be so kind and fix this problem.

    A forum is useless when no one answers the questions.

    Ok, since we've gotten no response from this forum, I went looking for a solution to the downloading puzzle problems. It's probably in your privacy settings.

    I found this solution in another support forum.

    1. Close Microsoft Jigsaw. 2. Go to settings. 3. Click on Privacy. 4. Click on Background Apps. 5. Turn on " Let apps run in the background, if it's off. 6. Scroll down to Microsoft Jigsaw and set it to "On"

    Now open Microsoft Jigsaw again and try to down load your puzzles again. If it doesn't work, restart your PC. Mine started working right after the restart. Good Luck.

    wont let me down load it

    I couldn't download daily challenges and new puzzles, either. Today I switched on "Let apps run in the background" (Settings->Privacy->Background apps) for Microsoft Jigsaw, Microsoft Store and Xbox, and daily challenges finally started to work. Maybe this
    will help you, too.
