Microsoft - Is this a joke?

Actually I installed it off the disc and then did the update! Get it right SFB! And what, just because you have a bigger GS makes you more experienced does it? Hahaha. Compensating for anything bud. Chasing achievements doesn't mean squat! It just means
you have more time, or less of a life! Besides, you have been anti Xbox one since it came out! Never seen you say one positive thing about it, ever. The only reason you come here is to talk up the ps4.

 

Oh and while we are on the subject, how come I cant find you on Xbox one smartglass, or if I check you profile on here, it tells me you don't have one. Your full of it. Even at the bottom of your posts you talk up drive club. A laughable racing game. Oh
it has weather effects. Oh wait but they forgot damage modelling. Fantastic!

 

Load times are going to be longer on Christmas day.... You've got to plan for this kind of stuff when you have a next gen console. Unpack the games on Christmas eve next year and do all the install/updates and you won't have this issue. I know you don't
want to unwrap the kids gifts but it beats them just sitting and waiting during long install times.

 

Why do people seem to think the PS4 will download their massive updates faster than Xbox's massive updates?

Here's the thing-since launch 2 entirely new tracks and almost 100 car models have been added to Forza 5 through free and paid DLC, and as such must be available on your system to act as drivatars or represent during online races. Now games are active, changing
things, and as such take up GB upon GB of space. You have to give it time, and give your internet connection a break. Even Minecraft takes up several gigabytes of space.

At least you can do this and XBL isn't down. PSN is, so thousands of people are stuck with stock PS4s that can't play bluray and broken games like Unity that need an update to work, or games missing all their free DLC like Driveclub's weather.

 

PSN is down? Mm nope. However just got billed $10 from Microsoft for no reason. Fantastic.

 

Dufful I have explained the gamertag remark already if you forget that's your problem. And you made the statement about "experienced silver accounts" so you brought it up. I don't care about your gamerscore.

And I'm not talking up DriveClub in fact I have not mentioned it. But since you care about my sig it's about the best weather effects ever done in a game. If you where a gamer and not a closed minded Xbox fan you would appreciate it,

Seems like it was an isolated incident then because I had zero problems yesterday with PSN. The same as whenever XBL has issues -- I don't experience them because they're usually isolated.

Welcome to the Official Xbox Forums. It's a very small community, but they'd be happy to make you feel less than welcome unless you tattoo the Microsoft logo on your forehead.

 

When you come into an Xbox forum and start blaming everyone else for problems you cause (including failing to research both the Xbox One and PS4), it's likely you're going to get an inflammatory reaction. Come in asking for a solution instead of attacking
Xbox after the fact through no fault of their own (and, may I note, Xbox fans), you're will be welcomed and helped out.

 

I've been trying to get to the PSN store for an hour, keeps says it timed out, or that a maintenance is going on, welcome to the digital age Christmas.

 

PLAYSTATION Network has been down the better part of the morning, so be thankful you can at least download and play your games today

But Ya, it's Christmas Day. Downloads will be slow, network issues will arise, and you may take a while to play your games. It's like that with every system though on Xmas day, nothing extra to do really

 

You should have updated it ahead of time. Really you should do that with anything. Just make sure it is ready. Do it the day before and then wrap the thing if you want. It is so sad to see peoples holiday "ruined" or "kids being frustrated" over things
like this. I just explained this stuff to my kids some years back when they would get certain things and they understood. And now they realize it happens whether that be a day 1 update when you take it out of the box, server issues on a given day, things
breaking since nothing is manufactured without some flawed units getting through, and other issue.

Why let something so minor frustrate or upset you. I mean, you did just get a very nice gift. And you will get the enjoy it. Sounds like my sister. She is all about material stuff. Glad my kids are not like that. They always would just wait patiently
and do other things. They new they would get to use it when these types of thing were done. And if it was broke we would exchange it since it was new.

 

Actually if you call them the best weather affects in a game then you are no one to talk about being ignorant. A bit of water on a screen and a bonnet does not mean the best weather effects ever. Go get a PC and see what real weather effects are! And you
can say what you like about you gamer tag! You want to come on here bashing the Xbox one without proving you even own one then I'm going to call bull crap!
