    Microsoft is refusing to put a stop on a harassing gamer


    I think there should be a class action law suite brought against Microsoft for its failed attempt to enforce player safety. I have a case where I have blocked and reported the same player who keeps sending me harassing messages since September of 2017 !!

    Even after contacting Microsoft today support gives only canned scripted replies and they seem to brush the whole thing under the rug.

    If left ignored in some past cases of some psychotic players can go as far as going to the other players home and kill them over a stupid game. This contradicts their gamer safety policies. Blocking and reposting is only a small slap on the wrist and they
    don't track repeat offenders. Until gamer safety and more stringent action is taken against repeat offenders this will escalate to another future fatality. Maybe then Microsoft will do their job in protecting players.

    Change My Gamertag Please

    I have been getting hate on xbox live from a certain group of hackers and I have tried everything. I put family setting on, i blocked them, but they just kept making new accounts and joining my game and making fun of me. I told a microsoft support server
    and he told me to post this problem. I feel like the only way for them to stop harassing me is if I change my gamertag , but i don't have the money.

    You will not get a free gamertag change from microsoft, I was bullied and harass by other gamers on xbox live. But I paid the 800 points to change my gamertag as i was not given a free gamertag change, now i have a different gamertag the bullying and harassment
    has stopped.

    so i would say get the 800 points and change your gamertag to something, other gamers cant make comments on.

    Well start writing gamefly and redbox now and perhaps gamestop, if we can get these major companies to see gamers aren't ok with what's happening either perhaps they will put up some money to help stop this disgrace, since money is all companies like microsoft
    and ea care about. Watch how fast their tune would change if just gamestop refused to sell xbox ones.

    Going by their history with ufc 10 and smackdown they probably won't fix this either. Gamers refuse to band together and do something to stop them which is sad considering how much we spend. If one guy suggested really taking action he'd be torched by 80%
    of the trolls who don't even disagree that they got ripped off, it's just cool to do.
