fine allows but it dont though my brother is 15 and he had 76 KEMS to his name he uses a xbox 360 elite and its in something like 480p or something as his tv is a CRT tv he plays well enough with out the res. also 1080p is nothing tbh 4K is 4million mega
pixals isnt it well cameras hit more then that and video cameras

 

Can someone explain how much of a difference the extra 8% of extra GPU is going to make. Is that a massive percentage or will it make little difference?

Sight being one of the few senses we use while gaming I can see why they'd say having a clearer picture would allow you to play better. The whole thing with your brother is anecdotal anyway.

Xbox one will sputter and struggle to do games the ps4 will do fine on. GPGPU is the way games are heading, serious cuts to the games so they can get ported to xbox one. The older Ace core setup the one has is not nearly on the same level as the ps4 and never
will be, (lacking a dedicated memory pipline and having a primitive que system.

I've been waiting for a patch to fix Kinect issues and now they are allocating resource away from the device they painted as being very important to Xbox One's future. Hmmm?

 

Imagine a targets head. That head is the same size whether it's 480, 720 or 1080p. The only difference? You have more pixels in that head as the resolution increases. How does that effect accuracy? It doesn't. The target's head is the same size on your screen
regardless of resolution - and it's up to the devs to determine where those hit points are and how they're distributed - again, independent of resolution.

 

@Dark, actually they have said it's more of a streamline of resources and wont affect how Kinect/Apps work. Nice try though.

Even if the target is off at a distance. As long as you have good draw distance, you can see and hit the target. I remember playing Ghost Recon on the original Xbox, on HUGE maps getting head shots and that was at 480p. ...with fog, haze or rain in the game.

 

Anything good related to any console turns into a troll fest its sad.

 

As a college student with a small room and 720p flatscreen, I honestly dont care. Anyway, back on topic...

Is this data usage still occurring even with the setting to have kinect off is on? If no, then this topic is pointless. If yes, please explain.
