Microsoft is breaking UK Consumer Law

@king thats not 100% true, in the UK the law is very much on the side of the consumer, just because MS states you can't have a refund under any condition, doesn't mean that is within the law, and therefore means very little, the law will always super seed
companies terms and conditions.

Consumer law regarding digital purchases in the UK has recently changed to protected the consumers even more.

I know consumer law various widely in different countries as does expectation.

There are other aspects of a sale but thats another story, and being unhappy with a game isn't a good reason for a refund especially with EA access offering a trial.

depends, if in the UK then distant seller law applies and as the game is well and truly faulty, very known and the devs have not fixed it in an appropriate time frame, then Microsoft have to do something about it. this is where phone support would have to help or the company will be breaking the law and therefore risk losing their licence to operate in the UK.

If it dosent return to previous subscription then it breaks consumer laws. How does one contact support?

which country are you in, local laws help, if UK go the CRA route (consumer rights act) this will make them sort the issue by law. other countries have similar laws, if you are in the US then sorry you are out of luck.

Just to add that this issue continues to this day, still the website displays these errors, still it adds 23% irish VAT on top of the UK vat price.

MS are afaik breaking the UK law.
