    Microsoft is bad at computer


    I bought iceborne from xbox store, installed it, played it, loved it. Now it won't start anymore. The Xbox hard drive says its there but the store says not installed. B4 u ask:

    Yes

    Restart?

    Power Cycle?

    Clear blu ray. Cache?

    Switched to energy saving mode?

    Switched to instant on?

    Remove and replace account?

    Soft reset?

    Hard reset?

    Reset internet connection?

    Clear alternate mac address?

    Do other games work?

    Did you replace the disk?

    Clear local saves?

    Does it show up in your order history?

    It seems to me i was sold the game but not the permission to play it so if you could remedy that please...

    First, welcome to the Xbox community. I'm sorry you're having this problem.

    When you try to start the game, does it redirect you to the Xbox Store, and when it's there it asks you to buy the game, or does it just say it's uninstalled?

    Ethernet cable from xbox to PC

    May want to verify the cable is working by temporarily wiring the computer the the network with it. If the computer can't connect, either the cable is bad or the computers ethernet port is bad.

    If the computer CAN connect, the ethernet port on y our xbox needs to be repaired.

    That's really bad news. I'm sorry to hear that. I hope Microsoft update the store in the future so it can use the files already on the computer instead of re-download everything.

    Maybe because as a part of the plan you are exposed to potentially offensive material.. A parent wouln't be exactly happy to walk in on their child at their computer with "bad words" on the screen, sent by xbox/microsoft lol.
