Microsoft is aware that Killer Instinct the Xbox One still need to improve?

After months of stalling to deliver a game with only 8 characters the Double Helix delivers Killer Instinct as a product that leaves something to be desired for fans of the franchise.
Microsoft needs to be aware of this fact.

Simply Double Helix focused to the extreme in gameplay in KI for Xbox One (this is good), but unfortunately the Double Helix forgot that the other important things to do a game, especially when it comes to KI.

The story mode (arcade mode) of KI for Xbox One is simply shameful, something terrible quality.
Microsoft needs to understand that the thousands and thousands of fans of KI feel treated like idiots while paying for a game the franchise KI to play a story mode and upon arriving at the end of it have as a bonus a transition from 3 pictures
with captions to describe the end of your favorite character. This is a shame, in the 21st century, with the graphic potential of the Xbox One, KI fans want to get to the end of the story mode of KI with his favorite character and be presented
with a movie in computer graphics (CG) for at least 5 minutes, in the style of the films on computer graphics of the games of the Final Fantasy series.

Hopefully in Killer Instinct: Season 2 for Xbox One Microsoft and the new Studio Iron Galaxy are competent enough to deliver a game infinitely better than the KI: Season 1.
Here below, some things you can't miss in KI: Season 2:

- Opening triumph (Hollywood standard) using film format of computer graphics (CG), as in the style of opening of Final Fantasy 8, and with an epic rock song.

- Story mode, where between a fight and another there are transitions in CG format ranging from counting the unfolding of the story and the relationship between the characters.

- Closures (finals) triumphant (Hollywood standard) in CG for each one of the characters in the game.

- After the player finish the game with all characters, provide some closure to the main game (Hollywood standard in CG format) with an epic rock song, similar to the grand finale of Dead or Alive 4.

- Improve the graphic quality of the characters of Killer Instinct.
The faces, mouths, eyes and hair of the human characters of KI is of terrible quality graphics.
Missed care of the Double Helix to the modeling of the characters.
KI deserves characters with high-level modeling, similar to quality of modeling the main character in the game Ryse.

- Improve the quality of the scenarios, making more 3D, but with possibility of rotations, multiple levels in the same scenario, but possibility of interaction of the characters with the scenarios.

- Hire a consultant to clothes, for he help Iron Galaxy to build the costumes of characters from Kiler instinct: Season 2.
Apart from the main clothes of Orchid in Killer Instict Season 1, all extra costumes of Orchid are simply ridiculous and tacky.
The extra costumes of Orchid, Jago and Sadira are examples of aberrations that need to be removed from the game KI in season 2 and never can be repeated with the other characters in the game.
Dead or Alive 5 is good example of how to provide extra costumes for the characters of a game.

Anyway, there are many things that need to be improved in KI for this be the AAA game that he deserves.
Microsoft knows very well what you have to do to make KI an AAA game, you just need to invest money and hire a large team of programmers and producers to make Killer instinct: Season 2 the game that all the fans crave.

Hmmm, I wasn't expecting too much with the "Arcade Mode", they didn't label it a "Story Mode". Not to mention this is a free/$20/$40 game.

From what's been going around is that Season 2 may actually have more of a story mode so that's good news. Love what they did so far tho.

 

Killer Instinct is fine as is. Season two will boost the game with more story/lore and more characters. Everything else is completely fine. Nothing should be changed.

 

It is not a question of changing KI, but a matter of perfecting KI.

The scenarios of KI: Season 1 are very static, why not optimize them in Season 2, including more levels, more camera angles and spins, and more objects that can be broken.

Imagine the scenario of Thunder, you hit the opponent with a strong blow and he goes down the mountain going slipping between the stones until you reach a second level, where the fight will continue normally.

Imagine the scenario of Spinal, you throw your opoente against one of those ships stranded on the beach and the walls of the ship break and you continue the fight inside the boat, and after much crashing inside the ship he shatters and the fighters fall
into the sea and continue to struggle with the water at the knees.

There are many possibility of interaction for the scenarios, just need to refine it in Season 2 of KI.

 

Look, dude, this not dead or alive, nor is it a netherrealm game. The fans kept *** and moaning about how every stupid little detail wasn't like the original games, so now you got an arcade mode just like the original games.

Iron Galaxy is set to add plenty to season 2 so be patient. This is one of the cheapest fighters ever to hit market and people want increasingly more for less money.

No, you paid for what you got, and it's every bit worth it.

KI is a triumphant return of a franchise that helped shape my habits as a gamer and if it isn't what you wanted when you paid your 20 bucks then perhaps you should have played the free version that lets you preview everything the game has to offer before
getting yourself into a situation where you're crying buyer's remorse.

 

And if you bought the game before it was complete, still your fault.

That stuff isn't Killer Instinct. Those are things that belong in Mortal Kombat or Dead or Alive. Killer Instinct is almost perfect. It perfectly captures the style and attitude of the originals, while bringing it into a modern fighting age. All it needs
is more characters, story mode, and accessories for those characters.

 

Story in fighting games always = lame. Haven't played the Arcade mode in KI and I doubt I will. Enjoying the heck out of Fulgore though and that's what I paid the $20 for.

I too share the OPs passion for KI. We just have EXTREMELY different wants from fighting games.
