Microsoft is a joke

[/quote] Actually, I ordered mine through ms store/dashboard on the second day available. At that time all the Gamestops around me only got around half a dozen or X1's to offer for preorder. I called around and all were taken up quickly. In the following weeks
the Gamestops all got much bigger allotments of X1's to offer, but by then I had already ordered. I am sure many did the same thing. Big retailers didnt start offering preorders for a couple weeks or so after Microsoft and Amazon either, so that was not an
option.

I work in online retail, in the States and UK, when we pay for a next day air service the customer gets their product the next day, it's not rocket science and it works as it should 99% of the time, so this notion that with home shipping we should somehow
accept delays or broken promises is absolute trash.

Listen pal I work nights and do not have the luxury of being able to go to the store so I would suggest you refrain from making assumptions about people you really know nothing about, that is what is called being arrogant and stupid!!

As for going to Game they are the worst outfit going and I would not give them the snot of my nose let alone £429:00.

I have had great experiences with courier companies and have no complaints with them however Microsoft are at fault they know what to expect from past releases and if I am not mistaken are primarily a software company so their software systems should be
able to handle this kind of data volume and their call centre staff really should have more knowledge and understanding than they do !!!

All I expect it is what they promise nothing more nothing less if the world was full

When you come into an Xbox forum and start blaming everyone else for problems you cause (including failing to research both the Xbox One and PS4), it's likely you're going to get an inflammatory reaction. Come in asking for a solution instead of attacking
Xbox after the fact through no fault of their own (and, may I note, Xbox fans), you're will be welcomed and helped out.
