Discus and support Microsoft headset adaptor (xbox one) in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; When is Microsoft going to release an official response in relation to the issues everyone is having with the headset adaptor.     Microsoft/Turtle Beach controversial headsets plus adaptors

    Update: Gaming audio will come via the Headset Audio Adaptor source
    www.turtlebeach.com/.../494     making Dolby Digital optical headsets redundant. If you want game/chat audio mix for the Xbox One you have to buy a headset bundled with a audio adaptor or wait until the adaptor is released by Microsoft.

    At least you got all the parts for your chat adapter...... I received mine with just the control block.... no firmware usb cable and no 2.5mm to 3.5mm adapter.... so I spent 30 bucks on a Microsoft paperweight. Couldn't tell you if it works or not..... I'n
    guessing not which would keep Microsoft batting 1.000 in my book
