    Microsoft hates disc buyers

Boy so I realize now that Microsoft really hates us user who buy disc copies of games. First off I can't rate or review games on Xbox live that I OWN, because hey I only own a disc and that means nothing to Microsoft. Thanks for that. And then this magical
glitch just happened where my Black ops 3 just uninstalled itself. That's really fine and dandy. Now I have to spend another day installing from the disc and then the 23gb update. Which for my 7mbps internet means that my day off is tossed in the trash. WHAT
IS THIS I really sincerely hate you Microsoft, thank you for being the worse than apple, which is quite the feat, congratulations. I swear they hire toddlers or something.

    :)

    Hardware problems on Xbox One

Are you guys having issues with the headset having nothing but static? Disc drives that won't read or install? Or console installation crashing? Well, I guess since it's fairly new, Microsoft didn't see this coming. I read a news article just now and this is what I saw.

So, you're mad at MS because you have a dodgy internet connection?

If you want to rate games for us to see, then create a blog or YouTube video.

It's 2018, who uses discs anyway?

I think he means rating the game over Xbox Live, but apparently he's being denied because it's not a digital purchase? It's a bit disingenuous to ask who still uses discs when the content itself is indistinguishable in raw data form. And *I'm* still using
discs when the retail value is better than the digital equivalent! Case in point: I've just ordered the PS4 version of Ghost Recon Wildlands, on sale in Australia (brand new & sealed) for $AU29.95. By contrast, the same game in digital form is being sold for
    $AU99 in the PlayStation Store!

Yes, it's 2018 but by and large if you're looking to add value to your gaming collection, the only place you're likely to find rare and collectible merch is via the PHYSICAL retail editions! Even though the majority of my collection has been founded upon
Xbox, I'm still in the market for platform exclusives - on either side of the fence. Finally, on a sidenote: I'd like to add that my love for Xbox is (sadly) flatlining... just picked up the latest OXM and there's only SEVEN reviews! By contrast, the competition
[OPS] brought home their June edition, and there's a gobsmacking TWENTY-TWO reviews in the same timeframe! :O

To add insult to injury, the *next* OXM won't hit the shelves until July 2 (while OPS is scheduled for June 7). Something doesn't quite add up here.

  6. If you're old enough, think back to the mid '80s through the '90s when CDs began replacing cassettes. I can recall a lot of people who got their pants all bunched up over the transition from one medium to another. Those who chose to stay with their steadily
declining medium had all kinds of complaints about the inconveniences they incurred. If I really sat and thought about it, I could probably even recall a few people I knew back then making a 'Boy, the people who make CDs must really hate us who still buy cassette
    tapes' type statement.

It's absolutely silly to think that any company 'hates' their customers who [in this case] prefer to use a storage medium that is starting to reach the end of its life cycle. It's about progressing from one medium to another, simple (or complicated as the
    case may be) as that.

No matter what the medium, each will have its own advantages and disadvantages before, during, and maybe even after their respective transitions and discussions about those aspects are usually pretty informative, thought provoking and even enjoyable. On
the other hand, you will also have little more than short sighted, angry rants that do nothing more than call attention to the growing pains of the transition, point fingers, and garner hatred rather than discussion... if you want to entertain toddler-like
    activity.

Well I don’t collect games. I forgot that people did.

I myself haven’t bought a disc or even used a disc since 2015. Using a disc just feels so old and outdated. To me it’s like buying a CD for music. I don’t think anyone does that.

I’ve never bought a digital game for full price. Amazon or CD Keys always have really cheap digital codes to sell.
