Microsoft Gaming Services not Working

Hello,

Been trying to launch games from the Xbox app on my PC and they don't launch. I've found a workaround that works maybe 50% of the time. So, what I've noticed is when I click to launch a game, I sit and wait for 5 minutes and then I notice the gaming service running, but not running the game.

My workaround is I end that task in task manager and wait another 5-10 minutes and the game finally launches. I've already tried repairing the gaming services app and resetting in the programs and features settings menu. I have attempted to remove then re-install using powershell but I keep getting errors stating that the removal failed (and yes I did run powershell as admin)

Windows is already completely updated and so is everything in the Microsoft app store. Not sure if I just need to wait for Gaming Services to run a patch, but I can barely play my games.

Is this happening on Windows 10 or 11?
Do you remember if your system received an update?
And would you please attach an screenshot of the powershell window?

If the game is online, it will work, yes, all Microsoft services are in perfect working order.

I've done all this, and now any game I want to install won't start downloading. I believe it is a microsoft store issue.

Alright. Let's try this
Select the Start button in the lower-left corner of the main screen, and then select Settings.
Select Update & Security > Check for updates.
Select View optional updates, and then select update KB5004476 from the list.

Select Download and install.
Once the update is complete, restart your device.
You should now be able to install, update, and launch games.

I've tried this nothing seems to work though, the update will not come up as an option, and tells me I have incorrect windows version when using the manual installer. Edition Windows 10 Pro
