Microsoft games problem

my pc does no have a touchscreen and when im about to play any game that i downloaded in microsoft store i have troubles because there is some things that work like if i had a touchscreen, for example, the character is ALWAYS attacking and i can not stop
it even if i am not pressing the button to attack

Very few of the games, if any in the store are touchscreen only. Yet you say any game you get is showing the same issue. When you say the character is attacking and you cannot stop it that makes it sound like a button either on your controller, mouse or
keyboard may be stuck in some fashion.

Sorry to hear it. Please try the steps listed below.

Known Issue: Some users having the game crash when launching on Windows 10.
Workaround: This may be because they game was pre-downloaded early on in the pre-order time frame and the PC was not set up for auto-updates. To resolve this, you will simply need to make sure your game is updated by going to the Store app
and clicking on the "...". Next click on "Downloads and updates" and then click "Get updates". Update The Outer Worlds if there is an update showing.

I have the same problem... did exactly the same as you... tried everything. Hope they fix it soon cos I really enjoy playing Jigsaw!!

I'm sorry to have this problem, with the intention of helping you, the user Wille M published in a Microsoft thread some solutions to solve this problem, so I would like to know more details to understand this error a little more.

1. Open the Xbox app and note the time it occurred;
2. Press Windows+Q keys, type and click Event Viewer;
3. Click Windows Logs > Applications;
4. Find the event that has Alert, Information or even Error near the time when the Xbox app was not opened.
5. Right-click on the event;
6. Select Copy > Copy Details as Text.

Additionally, it would be interesting to also check the logs in System and Applications and Services Logs > Hardware Events.

Note: Please submit any bugs and useful information you find.

Oh, by the way, what are the specifications of your PC? Memory, HD or SSD, Motherboard and video card.
