Microsoft games and Xbox sign-in issues

I was having this problem on my Xbox One, Surface Book, and my Lumia Icon running Windows 10. I got an update on my Xbox which seemed to fix the issues with that, but the problem persists on my phone and my Surface Book. I can't play Spartan Strike or Spartan
Assault on my Surface Book, and I can't use the Xbox Extras app on my phone.

 

I am also having the issue where all of my app based games on Windows 10 have stopped being able to log into Xbox Live. The Xbox app logs into Xbox Live as does signing in via www.xbox.com.

I have tried the following games: AlphaJax, Cut the Rope, Disney Fairies Hidden Treasures, Gravity Guy, Halo: Spartan Assault, Hexic, iStunt 2, any of the Microsoft games like Bingo, Jigsaw, etc.

Things are wrong fine on my Surface RT (running 8.1RT) so it is not my account but something specific to a Windows 10 PC.

 

I am having the same exact login issues with both Halo games and Hitman GO. This is quite annoying.

 

I have a Surface 3 and the same problem of TFJetfire, but only when trying to play Jigsaw, because Mahjong and solitaire work good. Has anybody a solution?

 

I have the same issue with all Xbox games when installed to SD on my Dell Venue Pro 8 running 10 Pro

 

i have the exact same issue on my Surface Pro 4... i need to clear my daily tasks! now only solitaire is working...

I hate to say this, but I may have a fix for this problem. Usually, that's a good thing, but I don't think some people will be too happy with how I "fixed" my problem. Like others, I was having trouble signing-in to not just the Halo: Spartan games, but
all games that had an Xbox Live sign-in (Minesweeper, Sudoku, Project Spark) on my Surface Pro 4. My 6-year old Toshiba laptop had no problem signing-in to these games, but my Surface Pro 4 just didn't want to. I thought about the differences between the 2
machines, and I realized that when I set up Windows 10 on my laptop, I signed-in with my existing Microsoft Account. Setting up my Pro 4 I created a local account and just signed-in to apps as I needed them.

So yesterday, I factory reset my Pro 4 and set it up using my existing Microsoft Account. I then reinstalled all of my games before I did any software updates. I wanted to check along the way that my games would work and sign me in on every version of Windows
10 that I updated to so I could rule out that a specific update caused the problem. I have now updated my Pro 4 to the most up to date version of Windows 10 and I am able to sign-in to all of my Xbox games with no problem. I know this is anecdotal and may
not work for everybody, but I just wanted to share what I had done and how I "fixed" my Xbox sign-in problem. I hope this helps at least some of you.

 

Glad to know I'm not alone, but frustrating to see this is a big issue! I tried to contact support but it wouldn't let me fill in the required fields to chat. Anyone able to get through and get answers?

 

Im having the same issues. Most games wont work but a couple do. project spark no longer one that is very annoying

 

I just tried a local account and that didnt work either

 

My Surface Book was setup with my existing Microsoft Account, so that's not a fix for me.

 

I am having the same problem with all my Xbox games on Windows 10, except the Xbox Live game Solitaire Collection. Jigsaw, Sudoku, Mahjong, and Jackpot no longer signon to Xbox. However, I can signon to Xbox.com with no problem. This has been going on since
the first week of January. Had no problems until then and I was playing the games every day last year...

 

Same issue here. Login in on new laptop with logins I was using on my old one. While Solitaire and Mahjong work just fine, Sudoko simply can't sign me in. It says to sign on livebox.com and restart app - but to no avail.
