Microsoft games and Xbox sign-in issues

Anyone else experiencing this?

I can launch Solitaire, Bingo with no issues but whenever I launch Sudoku, Jigsaw, Treasure Hunt and Minesweeper, it tries to login, fails and says to try login in to Xbox first and restart the game. Tried but it does not work. I uninstalled the games, re-installed
them but still the same issue.

This just started this week. As had no issues in December (everyday).

1170000 - Xbox Live couldn't sign you in. Usually this means that there's a current Xbox Live outage, or a Windows Update that didn't install. First check the following website to see if there's a known Xbox Live outage:

If there's no known outage, try the following:

1. Check to make sure you're connected to the internet.
2. Check to see if Xbox Live services are down. This handy website shows the status:

3. If they are all up, go to
   http://www.xbox.com and sign in with the same account you sign in to on your computer/tablet.
4. If everything is okay there, try restarting your computer/tablet with the "restart" option on the power/shutdown menu. Just clicking the off button or turning off your computer/tablet won't work. It needs to be restarted.
5. If you still can't connect, try running the Windows Update Troubleshooter. We have detailed instructions here if you scroll down, but you can get it here:

6. Check For Updates & install any mandatory, recommended, or optional updates you might have missed. We have detailed instructions further down this note.
7. Restart your computer - all those updates need to finish & you need to restart to make sure they all went through.

 

I'm experiencing the same problem with Mahjong and Sudoku.

 

I've been having sign in problems with my Taptile and Mahjong games. X-box app and solitaire connect with my account.

I am having the same issue with jigsaw. Uninstalled and reinstalled the game but I am still having the same problem

 

Me too. I can't sign in with Microsoft Jackpot on my Surface Book, but the game works fine on my Surface 3. Deleting and reinstalling the app on my Surface Book made no difference.

 

Me too esp Halo on my Surface. I have two factor authentication, would be nice to know answer before I try to turn off.

 

I'm having the same problem with minesweeper, but can sign into the solitaire package okay.

Anyone found a solution yet?

Same problem with Jigsaw - Solitaire works, but not Jigsaw on Surface 4 in the past week. Xbox customer help can't solve it as this is a 'games on windows' problem, they say. Microsoft Answer Desk can't help. And Jigsaw works fine on a Dell Win 10 platform,
so it's something about Jigsaw communicating with the xbox registry server on the Surface 4.

 

Having same problem - Age of Empires works fine, other games work fine.

I have internet access - in fact I am able to sign in on Xbox.com. However Microsoft Minesweeper, Sudoku, Pinball X2, or Jigsaw all give me the "Can't sign in, please try to sign in xbox.com and restart the application." message. This just started happening
in the past week or so. No errors or other message noted in the event viewer.

This is only happening on my Surface 3.

 

If this helps, I started shuffle party. It failed to sign intomxbox.com as well but this time it included a warning code:

I'm having issues with the signing in to the xbox I have a disk in the xbox one so I shouldn't need to sign in online but every time I try I get a something went wrong there message (well spotted) I've tried restarting 27 times!! even tried un plugging still
did nothing! only had this for 2 months!!
