Microsoft Gamertag Email Change

To remove that gamertag that is connected to your 'main' email (Microsoft Account), just change the connected gamertag connected to a new Microsoft account.

So first free up your 'correct' email address by moving the connected gamertag to a new Microsoft Account

and after that you should be able to change the 'email' (Microsoft Account) for your main gamertag to your 'correct' email address (Microsoft Account)

In order to change out the primary email for a gamertag to another one, the gamertag has to be removed. If there is a gamertag attached to the email, then it will only allow the new email to be connected to the gamertag as a secondary email instead of a
primary email.

Basically, it is going to be like musical chairs. Move each of the gamertags to another email to free the email. Create an account that will not be used on a daily basis. Move the gamertag from the email that is going to be used. Then it will free up the
email to use with the main gamertag.

There is NO way to remove a Xbox profile from a Microsoft (MS) account once it has been added to the account.

You can change what email address is used to sign into the account though.

Since your current MS account is an Outlook account you will NOT be able to use that email address to be put onto the Yahoo MS account.

As long as your parents do not use that MS account for anything else to do with MS then this really would be an easy thing to do.

Sign into the yahoo account at account.live.com/addassocid this will give you an option to use an existing Non-MS email (yahoo, gmail. ISP email) or create a new MS email (Outlook, Hotmail)

Once you add a new email at this site you can then make that email the primary email on the account and remove the Yahoo email from the account.

All this is doing is changing the email that is used to sign into the account with. everything else will be the same.

So if you are wanting to change like the payment options, security proofs, mailing addresses stuff like that you would still have to go in and change all that information also.

I would check this out. You should be able to remove the current and change to the one you wish to use.
