    Is there a way to contact Microsoft and request a patch to allow the use of Microsoft funds as a payment option in the backwards compatible games library on Xbox One?

    Is it safe to assume that Microsoft will not add backwards-compatibility for regular XBox games (not 360)?

    I would NOT assume that Microsoft will not add backwards compatibility for the original Xbox to the Xbox One. This type of backwards compatibility is technically feasible. It would just cost Microsoft money and time to build it. If you want Microsoft to
    build it the best thing you can do is ask them to Microsoft funds on backwards compatibility :)

    Titanfall

    Unfortunately Microsoft have not announced backwards compatibility for the Xbox 360 version of Titanfall, that will be a decision between EA/Respawn Entertainment and Microsoft. If you want to vote for Titanfall to receive backwards compatability follow

    It would be something Microsoft would have to add. Currently the only way to purchase backwards compatible content with funds from a gift card is by making the purchase on a 360.

    The One store/website have never been updated to work with the currency system for backwards compatible content. The only way to purchase backwards compatible games with the funds on your account is through a 360 console.

    The One store has never been updated to see the Microsoft account balance for backwards compatible content. In order to use the funds for 360 content, you have to make the purchase on a 360 console.

    In order to use the funds from your account for that purchase, the purchase would have to be made on a 360 console. The One/website do not see the Microsoft account balance as a valid payment option for backwards compatible content.
