You mentioned Microsoft Solitaire, so am I correct to assume you’re experiencing this issue on PC? If so, which Windows version and OS Build are you currently on? Press the Windows key + R, type winver in the Open box, then select OK, or go to Settings > System > About for more detailed info with your PC specs.

To clarify, do you come across any specific error code when these games fail to load? Does a crash occur at any point, or do these just load endlessly? Please post a screenshot or clip of exactly what happens with any message that appears, if possible.

First, report this problem so it can be looked into. You may also need to contact the game developer directly to address this, especially if it’s been ongoing for a while.

If you’re able to, try another network - a mobile hotspot, perhaps? It can also help to reset and repair Gaming Services: Settings > Apps > Apps & Features > Gaming Services > Advanced Options. Select repair (if available), then reset. Reset the Microsoft Store too: Press the Windows key, type in WSReset, right-click this, and select Run as Administrator.

Also, third party software, such as Anti-virus, Ad-blockers and VPNs can affect overall performance and even prevent games and apps from working properly. So if you have any installed, it would be best to uninstall or completely disable these (this can always be temporary for troubleshooting).

Be sure to restart your PC and reset your router after trying the above steps.

In this case I advise you to wait for an update, because the problem is in the game and can only be repaired by the developers.
