Microsoft Force Feedback wheel question

I'm looking to get a Microsoft Force Feedback wheel for the 360, but have a question. Can this wheel, or any other for that matter, be used without the pedals? I have bad knees, and it gets painful to use pedals
for any length of time. I haven't found a clear answer on whether the wheel paddles are variable and can be used for gas/brake, or if they are just basically switches only good for shifting.

Yes, it is the same across all the game my played. Such as Halo( only got weak feedback when shooting submachine gun), and Bayonetta. I already try change gamepad, and consoles. Thank you.

Hmmm, is it just giving you weak feedback or none at all? Also, kinda basic, but everyone here is making sure to use the AC adapter, yeah?

The force feedback wheel cannot be used without the pedals. If you want just a wheel only you would have to get the speed wheel.

Having a FF wheel and pedals myself I have found that if you have them set in the perfect driving position then you don`t use your knees at all, all movement is done at the ankle.

Cronus Max is currently working on current-gen Fanatec wheel support on XBox One with their USB controller adapter. Whether they can pull it off or not, particularly with proper force feedback effects, is debatable. One Cronus Max user has already figured
out how to use the Microsoft Force Feedback wheel with the XBox One, but without force feedback. No force feedback would be a deal breaker for me. I think the guy who got it to work with the Microsoft Force Feedback wheel (to the extent he has) did so by
making the Xbox One read the wheel as a controller. He had to make some edits to an interface Macro to get the linearity and deadzones in a region that felt right with the wheel.

Hmm, it may also be the wheel getting older. Is it the same across all games you play, or just the one? If it's just the one game, then we can also try uninstalling/resintalling that game specifically.

Just give me weak feedback after system updated, I almost can't feeling feedback, when I shooting in IL-2 Sturmovik: Birds of Prey.
