    Microsoft Flight Simulator will not open, crashes straight away every time


    Hi there, I recently purchased Microsoft Flight Simulator, and I cannot run the game. The download on Xbox games for the installer opens, plays some logos for a bit then crashes back to the desktop. This consistently happens every time. Here are the things that I have tried: Reinstalling the game, running in admin mode, restarting my PC, updating all of my drivers, windows is all updated. Please advise. Thanks

    I see Lucas, do you check if your hardware specs are compatible with the game?

    Also, could be good try using a previous driver version for your graphics card and test it how it goes

    Hi Josef, I open the game, it shows the title screens (xbox logo etc), then just crashes to desktop. No error messages at all. One time I opened it and it asked my if I wanted to use safe mode, so I did but got the same result in the end.

    It immediately crashes? Or an specific error appears?

    Its happening in PC Windows 11 and no, when i installed Microsoft Flight Simulator the first time, it crashed, so i never played it
