    Microsoft flight Simulator problem that directs me to install gaming services- HELP PLZ


    Hi,

    I uninstalled Microsoft Flight Simulator a while back until I could get a larger SSD installed in my PC. I now want to reinstall and fly again. I noticed the Microsoft Flight Simulator is still in my start menu. When I click on it I get redirected to the Microsoft Software store to install the Gaming Services. I click on the "install" and it just spins for hours. Nothing appears to happen. Directions, solutions, ideas ?

    To resolve this issue, please try the following steps:



    1. Open the Microsoft Store app on your PC.

    2. Click on the three dots in the top right corner and select "Downloads and updates".

    3. Click on "Get updates" and wait for the updates to install.

    4. Once the updates are installed, try installing Gaming Services again by clicking on the "Install" button.



    If the issue persists, you can try resetting the Microsoft Store app by following these steps:



    1. Press the Windows key + R to open the Run dialog box.

    2. Type "wsreset.exe" and press Enter.

    3. Wait for the command to complete and then try installing Gaming Services again.

    Based on the information you have provided me, it appears that the problem is related to the Microsoft flight simulator installation. It is possible that the simulator installation was corrupted or there is a problem with your console storage.

    Here are some steps you can take to fix the problem:

    1) Check your console storage. Make sure you have enough free space. As I understand it, Microsoft Flight Simulator requires a minimum of 100 GB of free space.

    2) Restart the console. Sometimes, restarting the console can fix minor problems.

    3) Reinstall the flight simulator. This may fix problems with the simulator installation.

    You can also try to repair the flight simulator. To do this, follow these steps:

    Go to your console's game library.
    Select "Microsoft Flight Simulator".
    Select "Manage".
    Select "Repair".
    If the flight simulator is repairable, you should be able to download the aircraft without any problems.
