    Microsoft flight simulator not playable for Xbox one?


    I have just recently downloaded the game off of Xbox game pass and it ran the initial download with no problems, however when I try and select any sort of flight the text “you are currently offline and do not have the optional offline mode files installed, so cannot start a new flight. Microsoft Flight simulator will automatically attempt to reconnect to the internet. Please check your connection, or alternatively you can download the offline mode files” except when I click download offline content. The Xbox screen “sorry this purchase experience isn’t supported” and I know there’s no issue with my internet as I play many online games such as apex and overwatch. I got the game pass as a Christmas present so was my mom basically scammed out of 50 bucks or is there a solution I can’t try.

    Xbox Series X/S games "not playable on this device" on brand new Xbox One X

    As it states, Flight Simulator is only available for the Series S/X. It may be playable on the One through the Cloud at some point in the future, but it is not being released on the One.
