Microsoft Flight Simulator GOTY Hours of progress lost after crash

I was playing MSFS on Xbox Series X. I played the A320 Landing lesson under Flight Training and the game crashed shortly before landing. When I started it up again, several hours of progress were lost; Hours and stats gone from Pilot Profile, flights gone from My Logbook, Flight Training mission ratings and completion reset. I might understand if it had not saved maybe the last few things I did, but multiple sessions worth of data have disappeared.

What's the deal? Did old server data override my local save? Is there any way to recover data?

On a side note, the last two missions of IFR Navigation are broken, but they do not cause total game crashes.

First, welcome to the Xbox community. Normally this wouldn't happen, as your progress is also saved in the cloud, if the cloud progress was deleted unfortunately it won't be possible to recover it. What I can suggest you do is contact game support and see if they can do something about it to restore it, as it's not normal for a problem like this to happen. I see, the problem with clips crashing only happens with microsoft flight simulator?

All versions of Flight Simulator seem to have undergone the GOTY title change. According to this page: Microsoft Flight Simulator | Xbox it is not available separately. When you try to download are you in account.microsoft.com/orders? And going from there?

If you go to this page: Buy Microsoft Flight Simulator: Deluxe Game of the Year Edition | Xbox It breaks down the bundle into three parts:

Which is just the game, digital ownership, and the deluxe content. If you are in account.microsoft.com/orders and cannot download it from the redeemed code, let me know, I can escalate this to our store team and see if there is an issue here since the GOTY change.
