    Microsoft Flight Simulator for PC - you are missing packages that are essential to run...


    I have downloaded the software twice and each time after finally installing and updating it tells me "you are missing packages that are essential to run microsoft flight simulator" when trying to launch. I check for futher updates and used the "verify and repair" button, but nothing works.

    I'm having the same issue with the Steam version. Tried everything from that article as well as reinstalling.

    Microsoft Flight Simulator on Xbox a good idea?

    Microsoft Flight isn't Microsoft Flight Simulator. Different game and it's not as demanding as your think. Most PCs/Laptops should be able to run it.

    Microsoft Flight is the latest installment to the flight genre though.
