    I have tried the work around described here https://flightsimulator.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/360016930319. I downloaded V. 1.9.5.0 from MS store

    and the first time it loaded I managed to get to the game menu after a long (15min) load.

    But subsequent launches still take me to the Mount Fuji Screen. Are there any real fix's for this issue yet?

    Hi!

    Did you double check if maybe the Microsoft Flight simulator icon/app appears via Windows search?
    (Press windows key and start typing " Microsoft Flight Simulator", if yes, press right-click on in, and select delete

    Restart your PC and try again.

    Did you also check if the files for flight simulator was deleted from WindowsApps / XboxGames folder?

    Flight Simulator 2020 asking for game disk

    My installed copy of Flight Simulator 2020, downloaded from Microsoft store ran fine the first time. Now however after starting the program I can only get as far as the "press any key"screen. Then it asks for a game disk, which I don't have.

    The original download took over 10 hours, Do I have to do it all over again?
    I had this issue. I was not signed in to my microsoft account for xbox and game pass for PC. Once i was online and logged in it loaded fine. Hope this helps
