Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 specs for my computer

There's not much of an upgrade path for the old FX-8350 as it's an old AMD CPU from 2012. It does however outperform the Intel i5-4460, the CPU listed on the game's minimum requirements (but not by much).

The biggest problem you have is your GPU. The GTX 1060 is a still a popular PC GPU, albeit somewhat weak by modern standards. If you had the 6GB version you'd probably be able to run the game with low to mid settings, but your GPU is the 3GB model which probably won't cut it as the game asks for a minimum of an GTX 770, which is a 4GB VRAM card.

You'd need a better graphics card. Something like a GTX 1660 or an AMD RX590. Even then you're still going to playing at low to mid graphics, 30fps at 900P or (at a push) 1080P.

I would recommend upgrading CPU, your GPU is okay but please expect a minimum performance.

Thank you for your reply. It is most helpful. I have the Microsoft 2018 ? and it works fine with my configuration. I'll just settle for that.
