Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 Crashing on any device I try to play it on!

It sounds crazy, but this is what is happening.

I have an Xbox Series X (that I bought just to play this game) and my brother has a PC and an Xbox Series X. I have tried playing flight sim on all 3 devices with my Xbox profile and it crashes on all 3.

However, when my brother signs into his Xbox account and spins the game up, no crashing.

This issue seems to be specific to my Xbox profile. Not a device issue.

It gets to the "Checking for updates" screen and then the screen flashes and then there is a loading screen with a blue bar right at the bottom and then it just crashes. On PC and on both Xboxes.

Again, this issue does not happen when my brother is signed in.

You will be happy to know that a standard Xbox controller is enough to play Flight Simulator 2020 and any other game on Xbox consoles. Microsoft has yet to officially announce what accessories will work on the Xbox console version of Flight Simulator 2020. For more information on Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020, see their website.

Yea that is the first thing I have tried after the 50 restarts didn’t work.

I have also tried removing my profile on the devices and then signing in again.

I have hard rebooted my systems.

I have deleted any other data on the console.

I have cleared the caches as well.

I am willing to try anything though

I am also having this problem on my Xbox Series X. It only happens on this game.
