Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 and Anti-Virus Software

Hello, I was just wondering if my Anti-Virus Software is effecting my MSFS Updates, my MSFS seems to get about 80 to 90% complete then freezes and I have to force quit it.

Is there a reason for this, if so how can I fix it without have to uninstall both the game and MSFS and reinstall it so it can work a few more times. I don't want to leave my computer unprotected but I really want to be able to have MSFS update without issues. my computer is more than capable of operating it as well as my internet.

Which Anti Virus software are you running ?

Excluding the executable would be the solution, this, however, can be tricky.

Usual useless answer. Make sure that updates are installed, make sure your anti-virus is up-to-date. These are bad excuses for non working software. Even when "all WIndows updates are installed" (how could they not? you can't stop them from installing!) nothing works.

I've lost my money in Flight Simulator, but I'll not loose it twice: today both Flight Simulator AND the underlying OS will be removed...
