Microsoft Flight DLC non-redeemable

Dear Microsoft,

I cant play the DLC I purchased for MS Flight via Steam.

Please see case reference: 1346899188

I purchased the following DLC for MS Flight in 2012:

Microsoft Flight Summer Sale Bundle
Microsoft Flight - Hawaiian Adventure Pack
Microsoft Flight - Maule M-7-260C
Microsoft Flight - North American P-51 Mustang
Microsoft Flight - Mitsubishi A6M2 Zero
Microsoft Flight: Alaskan Wilderness Pack
Microsoft Flight: P-40
Microsoft Flight: F4U Corsair

The problem I'm experiencing is that the old GFWL app states: "There was an error retrieving your purchase history. Please sign out and try again"
I've tried to sign in on multiple Windows 10 PC and it always states the same thing.

Flight Simulator?

Microsoft Should make a flight simulator like Microsoft Flight Simulator or Microsoft Flight for the One. Using its insane amount of servers, a really good multiplayer experience could be made with 10's and 100's of people flying around at the same time.
Of course, it should be like forza as well. Multiple fun game modes with planes would be great. It would also make big money for microsoft because of all the people that want a console flight simulator, and how they could sell additional planes as DLC just
like how Forza sells additional cars!

 

Microsoft Flight Simulator on Xbox a good idea?

Microsoft Flight isn't Microsoft Flight Simulator. Different game and it's not as demanding as your think. Most PCs/Laptops should be able to run it.

Microsoft Flight is the latest installment to the flight genre though.

 

GFWL is slightly buggy on Windows 10.

Uninstall GFWL and the Marketplace completely. Reboot your PC.

Download the latest GFWL client here:
www.xbox.com/.../DownloadClient

Install it.

Should work. If not, repeat all the steps once more. It's very finicky.

It still doesn't work for my account. Sames error "There was an error retrieving your purchase history. Please sign out and try again"

If I use another account I have it works. However MS Flight DLC is on the account the doesn't.

 

That would mean you may have purchased it on your other account. If the game is downloaded regardless if you purchased it with that specific account, it will show up in your library.

 

Are you able to get MS Flight up and running at all on your account? Even without the DLC.

I know they shut the game down - I can't remember if there were any servers needed to play though.

 

I'm able to get Flight to launch without DLC.

But because the DLC is activated under my account that doesn't have a purchase history I'm unable to get the DLC.
