Microsoft fix the Xbox or you lose customers (and credibility)

Since I updated my Xbox One to the new version with Windows 10 kernel my internet connection is too slow or it takes some retries to connect at all. I created a ticket some days ago and I thought that my problem was solved, but it is just better than before
but still very bad.

Why can not Microsoft get a normal internet experience with a mature operating system with a fixed hardware ? Why does it take weeks to repair? Why do you release updates without testing them?

Maybe Microsoft does not understand it, but as a customer I start to think if I am wrong being a fan. I bought a Xbox, a Surface RT and a Windows Phone. As a programmer I love the .NET stack and Azure, but your hardware products make me feel stupid. This
Xbox problems are for me the last in a long list.

That other companies get if can be seen with my last gadget. I bought a Sonos 5 speaker today and took me 1 minute to get it working on my WLan and streaming music from the internet. This is an expected user experience and not my crappy Xbox!!!!!!!!

Yes Microsoft really really need to strongly work on this fix and fast or it will lose customers

 

And when you think it cannot be much worst... my Xbox wants me to install an update. After 20 minutes it has downloaded 7%. My network is VERY slow. I am nearly sure that it has something to do with the crap Xbox.

CONFIRMED: If I shut down the Xbox everything is normal again.

Shame on you Microsoft!!! Even if you repair your bugs I will not be able to install them because you kill my network

 

Xbox has been having some issues with certain router's , what kind of modem and router are you using ?

It would be interesting to know if your console shows the very same behaviour whilst connected on a different network/networking equipment.

Just for the record, are you able to configure IPv6 settings on your Fritz!Box? And if so, how is IPv6 currently configured on your Fritz!Box (enabled/disabled)?

 

Also adding to what taidara said , is it possible to put the Fritzbox in bridge mode ?

My Xbox is driving me crazy again. :-( I installed thd newest update today. It took ages but finally it did it. Now when I start Amazon Prime (this is my main app, I don't play much.. my sons do) I get a message after some seconds telling me "try it later
again. There were problems connecting your Xbox". This was my translation as it is german.

My Sonos speaker is playing radio at the same time, so again, it is not my connection. I write this using a tablet and it is working without any problems at all.

I don't think that my settings are too fancy. Probably just the factory defaults. Why do all devices work but my Xbox?

I don't want to configure IPv6 on my network. I like the sentence "don't touch a running system". My network is working. The system that does not work is my Xbox.

@Bimnog: I will look at it. But in any case, the Fritzbox is very popular in Germany. There are probably millions of users working with the same settings that I do. Wouldn't it be easier if Microsoft could test with the boxes and fix the problem?

The last update looks already much better!! This time I will wait longer till I say that everything is ok, but for the last 3 days everything went as I expect. The Xbox connects without the need of retrying some times, and then it does not loose the connection.
I hope this was it!!!

Today is the fourth day and everything seems to work. I just started my Xbox and I got my internet connection directly (first try).. Then I started Amazon Prime and it has been running for one hour without interruptions.

I've just finished downloading/installing the newest system update for xbox one. The xbox now no longer recognizes my external hard drive. I have tried numerous times restarting the system, as well as unplugging/replugging in the external hard drive.
