I have two children who each have an XBOX One S under my email/Microsoft account. Any time I logon to Microsoft and/or XBOX live to manage either, only one of their profiles is accessible. I assumed adding both under myself as "Family", I'd be able to
access/manage both- not be stuck on just one child's XBOX. What am I missing?

    :)

Added child to family through an Adult account, still wont allow download of GTA V for Xbox S

    Hey there, Gabe Henehan

    Welcome to the Microsoft Community.

The status code you are getting is telling you that the user is not in a family. Please can you check to see if your son is in your family by visiting the Microsoft family page here: Microsoft Family Safety

You can view this article on how to add family members on Xbox: Create a child account and add family members on Xbox | Xbox Support

    Hope this helps,

Xbox family not reflecting Microsoft Family...

I'm going to assume you have already listed her as a child through the family page. I don't have kids or share/link my account to any else's but if I was having this same problem I would completely restore everything to step one. That would include un-linking
all accounts from each other. Changing the settings. then linking them together again. if that doesn't work, unlink them all again, Link them once more, then see if that fixes the glitch. Again, I don't use any of these things with my account but I would assume
it's just a problem with the linking system that's been setup.

    Hello SqueakyPrune,

Thank you for posting here on the Xbox forums. One thing I would like to point out is that there is no way to have both Gamertags under one Microsoft account email. One of those accounts has a primary sign in email that differs from your own. That may be
where some of the confusion is coming from.

The correct way to have set this up would have been to have your own account separate from the to child accounts. Afterwards, you would add their child accounts to your family. You would then be able to manage both of their accounts from your own account.

When you sign in under account.microsoft.com/family you only see one of their profiles?

Are you sure you added both of them on this website?

Both of your kids have their own email/accounts that you added on this site?

It's not possible turn an adult account into a child accounts. If you were needing to use parental controls, you would have to create a new child account; however, the child would lose everything they've already started on the adult account.
