Microsoft family time limits possibly doubling time?

Hi, so I just need to know if anyone has seen the allowed time per day of allowed well... Time set through the "Xbox family" thing have issues such as counting down screen time when not in use, or accounting twice as much time use as is actually in use. My little brother (who's account I manage because otherwise he plays for over 10 hours a day) is complaining that he had 12 left minutes but it kicked him off after only 6, is this possible?

Fix screen time limits not working

    • There are two ways you can set up screen time. Set up separate schedules for Xbox One and Windows 10, or create one schedule for all devices, see

Setting up screen time limits for your child
      .
    • If screen time isn't working the way you expect it to, keep the following in mind:
      • With the latest update of Windows, you're able to set up one schedule that'll apply across all of your child's devices. This means if you give them five hours in a day, they'll have five hours between their Xbox One and Windows 10 devices. Otherwise,
time gets tracked separately, so 1 hour of screen time means 1 hour per device.
      • Check to make sure your family’s devices have the latest Windows updates by selecting the
        Start button, then selecting Settings
        > Update & Security > Windows Update
        > Check for updates and installing any available updates. If you're on your child's device now,
check if it needs an update.
      • Try rebooting your family’s devices. Select the Start button, then select
        Power > Restart.
      • Make sure your child is signed in with their Microsoft account on their device. If they are, you can check to make sure their account is syncing up right. Select the
        Start button, then select Settings
        > Accounts and follow the prompts to verify their account.
    • Prevent kids from creating new accounts that aren't part of your Microsoft family (or subject to screen time limits):
      • On your Xbox, press the Xbox button, then select
        System > Settings
        > System > Signed-out content restrictions. Then create a guest key and turn off
Let people download & make new accounts. From then on, you'll need a guest key to add new accounts.

    Hey
    Kronkovitz
    ,

Thank you for reaching out to Xbox forums support. Thanks for responding with the update!

If you haven't already done so, go ahead and try performing a Soft console Factory
    reset
on your console by doing the following:

    1. Press the Xbox button to open the guide.
    2. Select Settings.
    3. Select All Settings.
    4. Select System.
    5. Select Console info & updates.
    6. Select Reset console. [KEEP MY GAMES AND APPS]
Make sure you have both your email and password on hand as you will be asked to sign back in. There is an option to delete everything and to save your games and apps; choose the latter. [KEEP MY GAMES AND APPS]

Once this action is performed and your console is totally refreshed, go ahead and set up his time restrictions usage again.

Hope this helps! Let us know!
