Microsoft Family - Pooled screen time between a set of application

    Hello!

Is there a way to create a pre defined list of applications and then define a screen time for that list.

For instance I would like to limit the game screen time and create a list consisting of

    + Mario Cart

    + Roblox

    + Among us

Then define that those apps can have a combined screen time of 1 hour per day. This is the way Apple and iOS has implemented the screen time block so would be good to have similar.

Is there a way already to do this?

    :)

HOW TO CHANGE XBOX FAMILY ORGANISER TO ALLOW SCREENTIME LIMITS.

Hi, Paul my name is Jhon, and will be a pleasure help you

To set screen time limits for your Xbox family group, you can use the Xbox Family Settings app on Android and iOS or the Microsoft Family site1. Here are the steps to set screen time limits on the Microsoft Family site:

Sign in to your Microsoft account on the Microsoft Family site.

On your family group page, select the member whose account you want to manage, and then select the Screen time tile.

From this page, you can connect new Xbox, Windows, and Android devices to their account. You can also adjust their daily and weekly screen time schedules.

Select the device, and then select Turn limits on if this is your first time setting up this device type.

Use the toggle under Use one schedule on all devices to simplify and manage all devices with the same screen time limits.

Use the listed time slots to adjust screen time limitations for a day or an entire week. You can adjust the applicable days, time limit, and time range.

Select Done to save the configurations that you’ve set.

If you prefer to use the Xbox Family Settings app, you can download it from the Google Play Store or the App Store1. Once you have installed the app, you can follow the instructions provided in the app to set screen time limits.

Please note that changing the login credentials of your child’s account may result in the loss of their gaming profile progress/levels. It is advisable to create a new account for your child and transfer their progress to the new account1.

Note: Some of the information, which were gained from this answer, were received in a thread on the Microsoft support , and it seemed a good idea, to share this information with you. Source of information (credits) :

help - xbox and email address change

    Hi dncreek44!

The first step to establishing family/parental controls is to create a family group with your Microsoft account at account.microsoft.com/family/. This will allow you to
add people and manage things like their screen time and purchasing ability across Xbox consoles and Windows 10 devices via either the website or Xbox Family Settings console app.

To differentiate between you and your child's control, I believe you both will need separate Microsoft accounts. Good luck!

How to add another Xbox device for another child in the house?

Hi Fite, my name is Oskayra, it is my pleasure to answer your question.

    1) Sign in to the application with the organizer's Microsoft account, then select Continue (in this case, the organizer is you).

    2) Select the green Accounts icon at the top right of the Family screen, then select Add Child > Create New Account.

    3) Select Get a new email address to create a Microsoft account, and then follow the on-screen instructions to set up the member's account (such as name, date of birth, and age).

    4) After the application automatically generates a gamer image and gamertag for the member's Xbox profile, select Next.

    5) Follow the on-screen instructions to adjust options or account information, if necessary, and select Done.

    6) Verify that the account appears under Member for its role in the family group when you return to the Family screen. If it does not appear, scroll down the Family screen on the page to refresh the list.

You will then be able to create an account for your minor daughter.
