    Microsoft Failed to honor sale- SCAM


    Microsoft did not want to honor their 75% off sale. They apparently had technical difficulties when I tried to make a purchase within the time frame of the sale. Now that the service is working properly the sale is over and they won't allow me to purchase
    a game at the discounted rate. Spoke to a rep and it was the worst customer service I have ever received. They kept trying to blame me. Don't have sales if you can't/won't honor the deal.

    The deal had a time limit, and unfortunately the time limit expired. The price at the time of purchase is the price for the content the user would pay, I'm afraid. If it was a widespread problem that brought down the Xbox Store (affecting a much larger
    number of users), they might have extended the offer, but there is no requirement that they do so. Hopefully the content you want will go on sale again soon, which will give you time to make sure your account is fully updated and functional prior to that time.

    Well I didn't say they don't have to honor it. I was just saying I didn't think it was a scam. I think it was a genuine mistake. Whether or not they honor it is a different story/issue.

    Yeah, I learned the hard way that Microsoft is a bunch of scamming liars. They gave me the weak @@@ excuse that either I deleted the email with the game code or they have no way to regenerate a new one. Basically they said I was just lucky to have the
    honor of being their customer.

    I have not received mine and contacted customer support. They treated me like I was trying to scam them and said they had never heard of the offer. I even sent them a link of the xbox live screenshot and they said because it was not from a Microsoft site
    they would not honor it.
