    Microsoft Events dropping after advertisements


    This has been happening consistently for the past 2 weeks. I realize others are documenting this same issue.

    When playing the Microsoft Solitaire Event games, specific Ads are causing our games to close. When we go back into them, the same ad comes up and again closes down the game upon finishing. It's extremely frustrating and the internal clock that times our
    play doesn't stop when the ad breaks. So while I usually complete a day's events in an hour or two, I'm clocking upwards to 15 hours with these errors. I've noticed even if I power off completely and come back online later the time is all added into my total
    event time.

    That isn't the worst of it - it's the frustration of tricking my way around the ad that is the real irritant.

    This doesn't happen when the ad is a game-type ad. Those ads have a button in the top left or right corner, and when I click on the button the ad closes and the next game appears. Not so with Oral-B, Nebraska Med Center, and others. Those just finish and
    hang for a few moments then close the Event completely.

    The first time I did a reset on Xbox Live and Microsoft Solitaire Collection I think I got past one ad before it began hanging/dropping again. Now resets don't help at all. Nor does uninstall/reinstall of xbox and solitaire. Please respond with some status
    this issue is being addressed and worked on. I've enjoyed these games a lot, but am reaching the point of calling it quits, there doesn't seem to be any resolution available.

    Ads repeatedly shut down Microsoft Solitaire Collection

    When I launch a game in the Microsoft Solitaire Collection (both Daily Challenge or Event), most (but not all) of the ads will shut down the collection after they play. In particular, these are the Spanish ads (since I am in Mexico),
    such as Coca Cola, Sunglass Hut, and several others. Please correct the advertisement program.

    After windows 10 did a major update the option for playing events was lost

    I had the same issue, here today gone tomorrow. After a update. I missing playing the events and completed most events. Any reason to be drop? I miss my standing on last event.

    Well Microsoft advertises the Xbox One as an "all in one entertainment" console, but after reading reviews about it from various sources it would seem it is nothing even close to that. So yes, they should drop the price. Or they
    should alter their advertisement and/or live up to that advertisement. Either way they have a lot of work to do to convince many of its customers that it is worth the price tag it currently holds.
