Microsoft even didn't warned me about debiting funds to pay for a subscription Xbox Game...

I understand your situation. But of course you are informed that the subscription continues at the normal price if you don't cancel it. It's exactly the same as any other subscription. Just enjoy the games for one more month and make sure to cancel before the next payment is due.

i know that but im talking about subscription due payment and the inability to pay them off with xbox funds

You cannot use the funds on your Microsoft Account to pay for an Xbox Live subscription. The only way to pay for a subscription is with a credit/debit card, or by redeeming a pre-paid subscription card (e.g., 12 months or 3 months cards, but not a currency
card).

• Do you currently have a pending balance on your account and are wishing to settle it with the funds that are currently in your Microsoft Account.
• Or are you trying to purchase a new Xbox Game Pass subscription with the funds on your account?

If this is the latter, then as long as you have the funds in your account to cover the recurring payment the following month [which you can turn off at anytime by visiting the

Services and subscription page] or have another payment instrument in hand such as a debit or credit card, you should be able to pay for the subscription.

If you have a pending balance on your account, then in order to be able to pay for a new subscription, you would first need to

settle your past due balance using a debit or a credit card, before you can purchase your subscription using the funds on your account.

The reason you are asked to pay the full amount for the card is because Xbox Live does not allow combining payment methods for a single transaction.

You can use Microsoft Store funds or a card, but not both.

To fix this, you'll need to first use your Microsoft Store funds to pay for most of the game.

Once you've used all your funds, Xbox Live will let you use your card to pay the rest of the amount.

To do this, follow these steps:

Select the game you want to purchase.

Click the "Buy" button.

Select the "Pay with funds" option.

Enter your Microsoft Store PIN.

Click the "Pay" button.

Once you've used all your funds, Xbox Live will show you the remaining amount you need to pay. At this point, you will be able to select the "Pay by card" option and follow the on-screen instructions to pay with your card.

Here are some additional tips for paying for games on Xbox with Microsoft Store funds and a card:

Make sure you have enough Microsoft Store funds to pay for most of the game.
