    Microsoft Error.


    I'm currently trying to get Realms Plus for Minecraft, however it brought up a message stating 'You cannot play online multiplayer because of how your Microsoft Account is set up. Review and change your privacy settings at aka.ms/accountsettings.'

    Which brings up an error message from Microsoft saying 'We are sorry, the page you requested cannot be found. The URL may be misspelled or the page you're looking for is no longer available.'

    The problem is, every time I click a link or anything that has to do with my account it brings up the same message.

    For example, I tried starting from the beginning and making my way to settings, I was able to get to the privacy page, but every link that would bring to the specific settings, brought up said error.

    Is this a problem on my end, with my computer? Something on Microsoft's end? Or is there something I'm missing/not doing correctly?

    Edit - The same problem seems to be coming up when I try to sign into my account as well.

    Also to note, that the message doesn't always come up. On a rare click the requested page will show, but if for some reason I have to revisit said link, it will once again bring up the message.

    I've tried. That's the problem. 9/10 clicks to get from the main page of Microsoft or the Xbox page to my settings, brings up the error message.

    I was lucky enough to get to that page, but when I turned everything to allow and hit submit, that too brought up the error.

    The error you are receiving is associated with unusual sign ins to your account. Since you said someone took control of your device and account, this explains it. Usually, when you sign in to the Microsoft website using the account that is receiving the error, you should see some steps to secure your account like changing password, enabling two-factor authentication, etc...

    May I know if you have changed your account password? Also, if you can, try to disable then enable two-factor authentication again on your account.
