Microsoft Edge/Youtube error on Xbox One.

Hi,

I have a problem with the Microsoft Edge app and it's very frustrating, i was watching YouTube on the browser and i had to turn off the Xbox One, but when i turn it on again it started to play the last video i was watching but on
the background (there was no video, only the audio), there were no YouTube tabs open so i couldn't close it, and everytime i start the app the audio is there and i can't close it (unless i close the app, but that's not what i want), i tried everything that
I could think of: deleted the history search, the save data from the hdd, restarted the console and nothing, please help .

P.D. Sorry if it's hard to understand, English is not my language but there is no support forum in my country so i had to put my question here.

on xbox one Microsoft Edge app. I have gotten this error code while trying to live stream my churches service. can an ambassador help me with this i am enrolled in the preview program. youtube also will not work either on this app.

Microsoft Edge on Xbox One keeps playing Youtube video audio

Whenever I open Microsoft Edge on my Xbox One, audio from a Youtube video I watched on Microsoft Edge will start playing at a random time even if there are no tabs with Youtube open. It's been going on for a while and is getting annoying. Is there anything
I can do to fix this?

Hi,

On the main menu of the console , press and HOLD 10 sec the powerbutton of the console, wait 30 sec, restart console.

May I know if you tried using the YouTube app?
Or is this happening only inside Edge?

If it’s the second, did you tried restoring Microsoft edge to factory defaults?

I've tried restoring Microsoft edge to factory settings, and I still received the same error message on Youtube.

This issue only happens on Microsoft edge on Xbox. Since September 2022, the issue started happening whenever the video player on Youtube would show a black screen for a split second, interrupting the video and would sometimes trigger the Experiencing Interruptions Message box. The issue started to get worse by the time it was November which would cause the error message to pop up, specifically when you change the video resolution, it would cause the video player to blink five times and trying to fast forward the video would cause it to buffer indefinity until the error message would appear. This wasn't an issue in older versions of Microsoft edge prior to the September 2022 System Update on Xbox.

Personally I use google chrome to watch youtube, or the app on my phone, I simply don't bother with the app on Xbox, or edge on Xbox, I actually don't use my Xbox for anything other than games, and spotify in the background now, oh and a few rewards apps
like microsoft rewards and Forza Hub.

My advice is to just not use Microsoft Edge or the youtube app on Xbox and find another way to watch youtube if it is causing you such a headache.

Having the same problem. YT works fine through Edge but the app causes the dumb :/ Youtube unavailable error.

How i know is temporarily suspension ? i can use YouTube or Microsoft edg in my accounts who still in my console but xbox live friends list or any communication blocked, my gt in xbox ICROTUS MAXx this one of my accounts
