    This apps is the biggest joke Microsoft has ever had it doesn't matter wat website I am on to stream it crashes back to dashboard after 8minutes and it is really starting to get under my skin the Xbox one x is cool and all but don't u think we should get
    the "flagship" internet app for Microsoft working a little better before spending all our time on the next new console give me Google chrome at least come on

    HBO GO not working on XBOX One, Microsoft Edge app, build 14393

    Hello,

    I am trying to get the hbogo.ro site to work on my XBOX One using Microsoft Edge.

    The HBO GO account works on Microsoft Edge on my laptop (BUILD 14393), it does work on Edge on my Lumia 950 XL (build 14393), but it does not work on Edge on my XBOX One (build 14393) - I get a message "Player error, try again".

    What is the difference between the Microsoft Edge on XBOX, Mobile and PC? Are they completely different browsers? Is Edge a Universal App? Is there any solution to get HBO GO work on my XBOX, too?

    The one I tried using oddly didn't work with the Xbox One S, it just made the Microsoft Edge style cursor appear on the game and it wouldn't click or actually work on anything.

    Jesse thank you for your response. The Microsoft Edge that is available through the Microsoft Store on Xbox Series S. Is the same one I have installed and says that it can't update. I know Xbox uses a modified Windows operating system and something is blocking this update.
