Microsoft Edge cursor will not stay hidden when controller is off (Xbox S.X.)

Thanks for bringing this concern to our attention. We understand that you are seeing the Microsoft Edge pointer in the middle of your browser, that makes it difficult for you to watch/stream videos. We checked the thread you have provided, and from what we understand if this issue has been commonly happening without a resolution, then it would be best to have this reported to the right team. As your technical advisor, if this cursor will not hide nor disappear from the screen, we suggest you report this bug to the Team Xbox for this to be investigated.

On your Xbox Series X|S, install Xbox Report a Problem app from Microsoft Store.

1. Press the Xbox button to open the guide, and then select Store.
   
2. Select Search, and then enter Xbox Report a Problem in the search box.
   
3. Choose the app from the search results, and then select Download.
   

After installing the app, press and hold the Xbox button on your controller and then select Report a problem to launch the Report a Problem app.

Once the app is launched, please follow the instructions below:

1. Select Report new problem.
   
2. Select Reproduce with advanced diagnostics.
   
3. Read through the details about media tracing, and then when you’re ready select Start trace.
   
4. On the How to reproduce with tracing instructional page, select Continue. Report a Problem will suspend in the background.
   
5. Reproduce the issue that you’re having with audio or video. After you’ve reproduced the problem, press and hold the Xbox button.
   
6. Select Report a problem, and then choose the most appropriate category and subcategory from each dropdown. If you’re not sure what to choose, make your best guess.
   
   • Selecting Cancel will exit out of your problem report and discard the media trace.
     
7. If you have a game clip that also shows the issue you’re experiencing, ensure that Include game clip is selected.
   
8. Enter [XBF] Microsoft Edge cursor issue as title.
   
9. Enter a description of your issue. Consider the following questions when deciding what details to include:
   
   1. What is the problem or unexpected behavior?
      
   2. What steps did you take to encounter the problem?
      
   3. What website/s you were streaming videos that this issue occurs?
      
   4. What additional software, hardware, or accessories were you using when you encountered the problem?
      
   5. Were there any specific error codes or messages you saw when you encountered the problem or behavior? If so, what was the error code or message?
      
      • Note You can use a USB keyboard, the Xbox Chatpad, or the Xbox app on your mobile or Windows device to submit the details of your report. If you’re using a virtual assistant such as Cortana or Alexa, bring up the keyboard for each text field, and then press the View button to use voice-to-text.
        
10. Select Submit to complete your report. It may take longer than expected to send a problem report with a media trace, as traces can be quite large.
    

As this will be passed to the team that is specialized on both Microsoft Edge and Xbox console, we may not have any details for resolution. I finally figured out a fix!!!!

it is to open the Edge client on your xbox, close any open tabs, and then press the Settings button on the home page of Edge. It will open a menu. Scroll this menu with the right stick and it will make the cursor disappear. While the cursor is invisible, press the Xbox button on your controller, press start on Edge client, close the program, and return to your game free of the cursor. Enjoy!!

Its happening in multiple games, and also on the microsoft edge app when I try to bring the cursor up.
