Microsoft Edge Crashing Regularly

I have just spent 2 hours talking to Microsoft team and they have no idea about the issue that's going on I've told them to do something and that thousands of people are having the same issue but they haven't got a clue ! Useless!!! I've also been told
my comments are prioritised and will go to the team that deals with issues like this, they honestly need to get their heads together and sort this out, trying be to watch a film and it's not evan on an illegal site' it's legit!! And it still turned off every
2 minutes

 

Absolutely crap. Spoke to several people on the phone and none of them knew what was going on. I am happy that so many other people are having this issue, yet its unfortunate that there is still no solution.

Can't believe these guys haven't figured it out. So annoying and stupid.

I will not be purchasing the next version of XBOX. Sony will be getting my money.

 

this is genuinely pathetic.

you introduce the preview program, I download it, as soon as i do that i get all these **** problems.I start watching videos, it's all fine, I watch the exact same type of video and it crashes and closes for hours.

Granted for me it stopped for a few months.

Yeah, somehow it just randomly stopped happening, not only that it hardly ever happens to my friend who uses it to do exactly what I use it for all the **** time. Almost all of his time at the moment on his xbox is spent on microsoft edge watching **** but
his never crashes and closes down. Mine does.

I watch one video from a series. Cool.I watch an entire **** series, cool. The final video keeps crashing. Not too cool. This didn't happen but it's basically what is happening.

not only that it keeps managing to reset my saved tabs and faves to the default bing ****.

how the **** does that work?

it only happens 1 time outta 15 but ?? really?

also how the **** haven't you managed to figure out what's wrong yet?

this is driving me **** nuts it's incredibly frustrating knowing you can't release a simple **** app without royally **** it up.

i used to play playstation, I was convinced to buy a xbox one rather than a ps4 and you just **** me in the ass.

i won't be making this mistake again, and yes it's solely because you can't do a simple thing like release a internet explorer that **** works.

 

Broken since release, nothing's ever been done about it. Don't even waste your time - and you are wasting your time - calling support with problem that will never be solved.

Edge doesn't work properly for anyone and that's the end of it.

Whenever I stream Videos (Movies) on ME

Everything fine for couple minutes and then! It just quit and ME restart

It seems that ME can’t handle much data

 

Same thing happening here. it seems to run into issues when the buffer needs to be flushed. a hard reset will give me more buffer time but that is an unacceptable solution. this issue, as well as no spotify support has me seriously considering the competitors
product

 

Having same issue here with MS Edge. Figuring it was a browser issue, I downloaded an alternate browser from the store. It worked great...watched a show all the way through from the pbs.org site. I clicked to load the next in the series, got about 6 minutes
in and it crashes too. Continues to do so from then on out. I have a Chromebox on order to do streaming, will use the XBox for gaming and the BluRay player.

 

Yep, this is completely useless now!..new update is doing nothing but constantly crashing my ME app. Worked fine before this crap update!.. NEVER had an issue before!..you people fudged up ROYALLY! Quit changing crap. It just fudged up more crap!.. uneducated
brainwashed morons!..I'm getting my money back!

 

Go to Network Settings, Advanced Settings and press clear MAC address. Worked for me

 

hey guys everyone is in the same boat and can 100% say it is bogged down on purpose to make us go to there sponsored sites ie netflix etc there is now a non ms explorer in the app store its a bit outdated and slow but streams movies from everysite ive tried
with only 1 freeze up in the 11 streaming sites i use, legit or not. this is a big giveaway at what MS is doing. EDGE is probably the worst explorer out atm across all its platforms. For now use "INTERNET BROWSER" from the store if everyone started using this
other option it would eventually force the script kitties at ms to do sumut about it instead of consistently lying and doing nothing for the people who pay there wages.

 

thats not a fix itl go back to crashing very shortly after cache clear/hard reset which does the same thing

 

Mine crashes when i try to load a page with a video on it
