Microsoft Edge - Can it be Deleted?

Having issues with my child's ability to use Microsoft Edge on Xbox One to access adult content when we aren't home (after school). Parental features don't seem to be robust enough so I want to delete the app (like you can with any other app on Xbox)
but it wont allow it. Is there a way to get rid of Edge and if so why not?

On the parental settings you should be able to disable all websites for her account, and the console Edge should adhere to that. You can then add sites your child is allowed to use to a whitelist, so the kid can ONLY visit the sites you set up to be allowed.
Everything else will be inaccessible.

As the Edge app is a system app for the Xbox One, you can't uninstall it. You can however tell Edge which websites are allowed and to block everything else with the instructions above.

edge is a built in app of the system cant be deleted but yo can block feature in child's account

Hello,

Microsoft edge is a built in app that is unable to be deleted, however there are a few things that you can do to combat the issue.

1. Use a wifi filter on your router to filter what can and can't be accessed;

2. Contact your ISP and ask them to guide you on how to restrain access to these sites;

3. Completely lock down the account with parental controls; or

4. web filtering by: https://support.xbox.com/en-GB/xbox-one/security/block-inappropriate-content

I have to inform you that there is no option to uninstall\delete Microsoft edge from Xbox one

I haven't deleted Microsoft Edge. Do you know of any other causes or/and solutions?
