    A big deal has been made about MS's 300k servers and how it will help with game play. I was wondering, because I remember this being an issue a long time ago with the 360, but does EA control their own servers. Is this also the case on the Xbox One? Right
    now it is close to 2 1/2 months after the launch of BF 4 and I cannot believe that when I try a quickmatch, I always get the message "Failed to Join the game. Please check your network connection and try again". (quick note, NAT is open, ports forwarded,
    proper router, etc. NO issues playing any other One games online, or 360, Playstation or PC games.)

    I am playing a game in a long running series, published by a major company, and the option to join a match does not work properly. If the servers are run by EA, Microsoft needs to step up and do something about this, especially since they tout their 300k
    servers as a way to enhance game play.

    Battlefront server performance

    Titanfall always ran great for me. I wish more developers would take advantage of the tools Microsoft offers them.

    Microsoft may remove XBOX live restriction for Netflix.

    honestly whats the difference if you get netflix and such for free... you still need live for xblive downloads and multiplayer gaming.. and i would rather pay microsoft for server/stability that actually works than rely on publishers to give us good/great servers..

    look at bf4 and all the issues.. the rubberbanding was a netowrk/server issue on ea's part nothing was on microsofts. ea updated to faster servers and now the game runs good. if ea had launched on microsoft servers the issue would have been gone from the start..

    you can get live for 30-40 bux on amazon/ebay for 12 months thats like 5-10bux a month which is nothing.. i piss away that amount.

    EA has its own servers that they use and they are constantly plagued with problems. With each patch for BF4, the servers are getting more and more stabilized. Best bet is to use Battlelog on your computer to search for servers.

    EA has its own servers that they use and they are constantly plagued with problems. With each patch for BF4, the servers are getting more and more stabilized. Best bet is to use Battlelog on your computer to search for servers.

    You just answered your own question. The EA servers are unavailable. Not MS servers. If they were you wouldnt have been in party chat. EA has the worst gaming servers period. This issue is not uncommon

    I can guarantee tha EA will never use Microsoft's servers, that was one of the bargaining tools EA wanted back when the original Xbox was out. EA didn't put online multiplayer in their games because they wanted control of the servers, Microsoft needed EA
    to do multiplayer games, so they agreed to EA running their own servers plus Microsoft stopped making their ownsports games (can't remember the name of the Microsoft golf game on the original Xbox, but it was much much better than EAs golf game)
