Microsoft doesn't give a [mod removed] about customer support anymore.

Long story short.

I sent my Xbox One X in for out of warranty repairs.

My Xbox shows up at their repair facility and they decide to send it back because someone fat fingered the serial number when they were entered it into the system and then claimed they couldn't repair the unit.

So, they send me back the same Xbox One X in a crappy torn up box, no padding, no anti-static bag etc. and were like here you go 270 dollars later.

Then I wait... and I wait and I wait to get a refund. I called about 5 times was told I was getting my money back for a repair that never happened.

In the end I had to fight MS through my CC card company... and I'm still not convinced I won't get shafted later.

The funny thing is I sent my PS4 off at the same time because lightning hit my house and both of my consoles were busted.

I did a little test, I sent off both units and said whoever does this the right way.... that's who I'm sticking with. The PS4 cost was 149.99 they sent me a box with an anti-static bag, padding, etc. that perfectly fits my PS4. Within one week I had a working
PS4 returned to me no questions asked.

MS on the other hand is like yeah we took your money what are you gonna do.

I literally make a living off MS products. I'm a MS Database Admin for crying out loud.... I've got MS tattooed on my [mod removed].

Well I'm sorry to say I'm done with Xbox I will not be getting it fixed and all of the thousands of dollars I've spent on Xbox gear is now going to Sony.

You want to know why your going to lose the console war this is it right here. I'm done with you disrespectful [mod removed].
