    Over four weeks ago I started having trouble with my elite controller. It would no longer connect to my Xbox One console. So I went to Microsoft online repair center to put in a request to repair my controller. I got authorization to get it repaired. So
    I sent in the controller through USPS I bought insurance and postage for the shipping which was $12.00 in total. It took about four days to receive what I thought was my Elite controller. I opened the box what did I see? My Elite controller? Nope a regular
    white one.

    So I start a chat with Microsoft Xbox support his name was Rusty, he was very helpful at first he asked me to send to him a picture of the white controller the shipping information, a picture of the boxes labels that the controller shipped with, and serial
    numbers. I sent all the information asked to Rusty. After that Rusty never tried to contacted me again after I sent multiple emails asking for a status update from him. That some great customer service right?

    After a week had passed without reply I started another hour long chat with customer service this time with Rommel. He was very helpful too. He looked at all my information and he basically told me that he would need to upgrade my ticket to a higher support
    level. I said great! Now maybe this won't take much longer to sort with whole thing out . Well now it was been seven days since that chat, well five not counting the weekend. No reply from Microsoft, no controller. This was been the worst experience I have
    ever had from any support.

    I have been with Xbox since the beginning I got my first Xbox in 2002 and Xbox live subscriber since then as well. What is going on with your support and why can they not resolve this simple issue?

    REALLY, STOP TELLIN PEOPLE ON THIS FORUM HOW GREAT THE X1 IS. IT FEELS LIKE YOU ALL WORK FOR MICROSOFT. MY SYSTEM WONT READ THE DISC INSERTED AND SO I WENT THROUGH THE PROCESS TO GET MINE BACK WITH FED EX. SO I GO TO THE FED EX STORE AT OFFICE MAX, AND I
    KNOW ITS NOT A FED EX STORE BUT COME ON MAN THEY DIDNT HAVE A BOX TO FIT THE X1 SAFELY WITH THE BUBBLE WRAP, SO THE GIRL SAYS YOU CAN BUY ONE OF OUR BOXES LOCATED IN THE BACK OF THE STORE. I LEFT THE BRICK AT THE COUNTER HOPING SOMEONE WOULD STEAL IT. I LOOKED
    AT THE BOXES THEY HAD TO OFFER, 18X18X12 14X14X14 12X WHO CARES AT THIS POINT. SO I CALL MICROSOFT WHEN I GET HOME AND I AM TALKING TO THE GIRL ON THE OTHER LINE AND SHE SAYS WE HAVE TO GET BACK TO YOU IN 24 HOURS. SO CALL BACK TOMORROW.REALLY? I ASK TO TALK
    TO A MANAGER AND I GET REDIRECTED TO JOE, WHO IS COOL. AND STILL WONT WAIVE THE 15$ TO GET ADVANCED SHIPPING.(GET A SYSTEM BEFORE YOU SEND YOURS IN.) SO I TALK TO HIS BOSS AND SAYS THE SAMETHING. 1:35:40 MINS ON THE PHONE. I SAY, ILL JUST USE THE REGULAR
    SHIPPING METHOD. FOR A PRODUCT THAT IS WARRANTIED FOR 1 YEAR THEY EXPECT YOU TO STOP PLAYING YOUR 500$ (MINUS GAMES) PRODUCT AND SHIP IT YOURSELF FOR AN ADITIONAL 15$ DOLLARS AND A 500$ HOLD ON YOUR CREDIT CARD. THAT IS BAD BUISNESS. SO I CHOSE TO SEND IT
    IN EXPADITED FOR 10.50$ AND WAIT 14 DAYS FOR A DISC DRIVE ISSUE. WHEN I HAD THE YLOD FOR THE PS3 THEY SENT ME A BOX AND 3 GAMES TO MAKE IT SMOOTH OVER. WHY DID I BUY THIS NEXT GEN GAMING SYSTEM? TO PAY 15$ MORE DOLLARS TO GET THERE 4 MONTH OLD PRODUCT FIXED
    DUE TO THERE COMPANY WANTING TO RELEASE TOO SOON AND INSTALING A RUSHED DISC DRIVE THAT THEY DIDNT WANT IN THE FIRST PLACE. WHEN I GET MY CONSOLE BACK, IF I GET THE BRICK BACK? I AM GETTING THE NOT TO MENTION SYSTEM.

    If you do the advanced replacement then you don't pay a dime. Any who I had my disc drive stop and the one I just got from ms disc drive is making a grinding noise and because the ticket is still open I cant do another replacement so they escalated it still
    waiting on a call from them. But I did get a free game for my trouble wish it would have been titanfall but im enjoying dead rising 3

  5. Oh I know that the thing is that this issue was upgraded according to them to the next tier in their support system. Now what wait until when? Now this has gone on for more than a month without resolution.

    Oh I know that the thing is that this issue was upgraded according to them to the next tier in their support system. Now what wait until when? Now this has gone on for more than a month without resolution.

    first off where did you get it from? myself got it from GAME in the uk. i am asking this because if my xbox one went wrong i wouldnt go to microsoft id take it back where i got it and i know id get a brand new xbox one there and then. xbox ones are made
    on a line some can be faulty some can be fine id either take it back where u got it from or contact microsft tell them what you have told us ur besurprised my bro 360 once broke they gave him 12 months xbox live. microsoft do cre thats why they are bringing

    While I have sympathy for you dilemma. I feel that compensation is not really deserved. You bought a product, it was faulty, there's always a chance of that with anything you buy. They will replace it. Be happy with that. Just my opinion.
