    Microsoft Does Not Care About Service


    Since the last update to youtube (The one that completely changed the UI for browsing youtube) I have been having numerous problems with the service. 1.) Upon loading, youtube will only load half of the thumbnails for videos and channels, if even that.
    2.) Videos will only play about 40% of the time, and usually I have to select the video multiple times back out, then select it again for it to play. 3.) It cant seem to decide what is wrong with the app, I get error messages that range from error codes, to
    "Requested video cannot be retrieved" (sometimes after the video has started playing and continues to play with the error message overlayed in front of it) as well as Network Errors. 4.) Upon opening the browse menu displayed at the side of the screen, most
    of the time nothing is there or it only partially loads. I have tried completely removing all traces of YouTube from the console and reinstalling the app, and it has yielded no results. I can also say with almist 100% certainty it is not my ISP as everything
    else for xbox that requires internet works perfectly fine, as well as everything for every internet capable device in my house. The issues are entirely exclusive to Youtube on Xbox 360. Please help! It has been happening since the update months ago, and I
    am fed up!

    Over four weeks ago I started having trouble with my elite controller. It would no longer connect to my Xbox One console. So I went to Microsoft online repair center to put in a request to repair my controller. I got authorization to get it repaired. So
    I sent in the controller through USPS I bought insurance and postage for the shipping which was $12.00 in total. It took about four days to receive what I thought was my Elite controller. I opened the box what did I see? My Elite controller? Nope a regular
    white one.

    So I start a chat with Microsoft Xbox support his name was Rusty, he was very helpful at first he asked me to send to him a picture of the white controller the shipping information, a picture of the boxes labels that the controller shipped with, and serial
    numbers. I sent all the information asked to Rusty. After that Rusty never tried to contacted me again after I sent multiple emails asking for a status update from him. That some great customer service right?

    After a week had passed without reply I started another hour long chat with customer service this time with Rommel. He was very helpful too. He looked at all my information and he basically told me that he would need to upgrade my ticket to a higher support
    level. I said great! Now maybe this won't take much longer to sort with whole thing out . Well now it was been seven days since that chat, well five not counting the weekend. No reply from Microsoft, no controller. This was been the worst experience I have
    ever had from any support.

    I have been with Xbox since the beginning I got my first Xbox in 2002 and Xbox live subscriber since then as well. What is going on with your support and why can they not resolve this simple issue?

    you don't send an follow up email

    You contact support dirextly

    Emails.are only for sending receipts and pictures.not communications concerning a service repair

    Sorry to hear that you're having issues with Youtube. Unfortunately, Microsoft does not program the apps. That is up to the individual companies. In this case we're looking at Youtube. If you are having issues with the app and deleting and reinstalling
    has not solved it you should definitely contact them and let them know what's happening.

    i bought an elite 360 jasper model (I think) in 2008, it still works 12 years later.

    im not saying you didnt get shafted im saying that i've never ran into an issue with microsoft in the 17 years ive had xbox.
